The gas safety course is online and lasts just under 45 minutes. The course is available in both Norwegian and English and can be taken on both PC and tablet devices. You have the option to pause the course if needed, making it easier to complete during the workday.
Questions are asked after each section to ensure that you remember the key points from each topic in the course. Upon passing the final test, you will receive a course certificate documenting your competence.
Who is the course for?
For those who will be working with hazardous substances and gas, there are requirements for documented competence. This can be obtained by taking our online gas safety course. Anyone working with gas and responsible for gas safety in their workplace must receive training and competence in this area. Competence should be able to be documented and maintained. All gases are covered by the Regulations on the Handling of Hazardous Substances from DSB. Regulations from DSB.
